Jitpai foundation, created in 2010 by Gina Roselia Aldana Martin, teacher of the center we are working with, aims to ensure indigenous cultures keep their ancestral knowledge using educative and cultural process. It bases its activities on audiovisual technologies in order to appeal students and make them proud to express themselves in their native language.

For this project, Jitpai is willing to develop a student radio station. It will contribute to students’ creativity development and argumentation abilities as they will have to work in team to set up programs in Wayuunaiki and Spanish. The foundation will thus have to finish building the room hosting the station. Furthermore, knowing well the wayuu culture and the kids, Gina will orientate Adelarte volunteers in the animation of the theater activities.
