Adelarte brings to communities answers to the stakes they identified themselves as priorities. Exchanges between human beings lead to the reinforcement of the dignity of populations affected during too many years by mistreatment, denigration or forgetfulness. Using art as vector of common experience allows personal development and cultures’ promotion.

The association works with local organizations that know the communities, their issues and traditions as well as local situation. These organizations share our vision not to work FOR the communities but WITH them in order for them to evolve on their own issues.

Our first project will take place from January 2018 to June 2020, in Colombia

Each year about 10 volunteers will live and work 1 to 4 months with wayuu communities.
