What is our story?

En 2016, Marline went to South America to give a hand on sustainable development projects lead by locals. During this trip she thought about creating Adelarte, in order to offer to other the possibility to rewarding experience working with communities in their own development projects.

Many associations help indigenous communities, some of them forget to base their action on the local culture and to involve the communities during the realization phase. Well, as wrote Confucius « Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I may remember. Involve me, and I will understand».

Marline’s will is not to help, in the meaning of give, but to escort considering first local solutions. Convinced of federator power of art she decided to put it at the heart of her project, Adelarte being a composition of « adelante » (going forward in Spanish) and « arte » and meaning let’s move forward thanks to art.
